What is the ExTempore range of contemporary furniture?

ExTempore is a completely modular product range of modern design furniture. Every combination you can think of can be dealt with. Our product range is in such balance that with a minimum of changes another solution can be created.

How do I chose my ExTempore range?

1. Tables & chairs

First of all, you have to know how many people you wish to seat at your table. The lengths of the tables vary from 90 to 270 cm, every 45 cm there is another length.

Chairs: For every table there is a recommended quantity of chairs. The chairs themselves are stackable.

2. Tables and benches and chairs

We recommend to take the size of the bench one size smaller than the size of the table. You need to have enough legroom to enter the bench from the sides.

A second hint : when you wish to combine a bench and a table, take a bench without back and armrests. As a result, people will have no problems to enter the bench and will not have to climb over the backrest if they wish to join the table.

For the tables with length 180, 225 and 270 cm, there is an extension available, allowing you to enlarge the table top with 135 cm.

3. Benches with armrest

Benches with back and/or armrest are meant to stand alone and not to be combined with a table. This is not very aesthetic, and what is more, benches with arm-and backrest force you to climb over if you wish to join the table.

4. ExTempore high

The high ExTempore tables only come in two sizes, as this type of table is mostly used in a spacious (restaurant or bar) environment.

The high ExTempore benches have the same height as the normal ExTempore tables. This way you are able to use a high bench as a kind of tabletop extension. We also think it looks nicer not to put the bench directly next to the table, but leave at least 6 cm in between.

5. Low tables and chairs

If you use low chairs together with a footrest, we recommend to take the low chairs with the high back rests. These offer more comfort for the back. Low tables are meant to be used with low chairs.

6. Lounge-chair

Tthe best way to use the lounge chairs is to combine them in pairs.

7. Sunbed

For the ExTempore EL sun bed we recommend to use the mattress. When you use a sun bed, you may have to turn the bed into the direction of the sun. For this reason, it is easier if you install the optional wheels in order to easily move the sun bed around.

9. Barbecue

The ExTempore barbecue is available in two types. Every type offers the possibility of being together with your guests. This means that the chef does not have to stand remotely in a corner of the garden, far away from his guests. On the contrary, while preparing the food, he remains close to his guests.

The barbecue with frame

This type of barbecue has the same width and height of the regular ExTempore table, allowing you to put the barbecue next to the table. Barbecue and table look like one piece of furniture, and you still have the option to put the barbecue away if you like. The host is with his people while he prepares the meat.

This type of barbecue is integrated in an ExTempore table of 90 cm long and gives you more work space.
