Solving a problem
The Kosmos ‘Oris is a special piece used by people with a message. The speaker stands on a higher level so the public stays concentrated. The Kosmos ‘Oris was created as an answer to a special request of the Design museum Ghent.
During conferences it is often found that people aren’t really listening. Most of the times it is due to the fact they can’t see or hear the person speaking. Dirk Wynants did some research on where this same problem already had occurred and also been solved. |

That is how he taught of his past. Every week he had to go to mass, where the priest always spoke to the crowd out of a pulpit.
That is where the inspiration came from. Based on his latest design the Kosmos, he created the Kosmos ‘Oris.
Any speaker that stands in the Kosmos ‘Oris is seen and heard, the public is attentive and captures his words. It is an ideal tool for anyone with any kind of message. |

On the large desk there is space for a reading shelf, a laptop and some notes. There is also room for two large bottles of water. The extra shelf provides space to put several accessories, such as: a laptop, a charger or a sound amplifier. The remote control for the lighting and sockets are built in. |

There is step provided that can flip over, so that even small people get a chance to be seen properly. |
