The DoNuts table top and pots of Alea and Romeo & Juliet are made of polyester. Glass fibre reinforced polyester consists of two components: polyester and a glass fibre web. Before spraying the polyester, a gel coating is sprayed into the mould. The coating protects the polyester underneath against UV radiation.

Maintenance

Clean with a soft cloth and standard detergents as used to clean the kitchen with. Never clean the table with abrasive objects, as the polyester is vulnerable to scratches. Superficial scratches on the table can be repaired with polishing paste, the kind you also use on your car. We also advise you to buff the table afterwards with a high gloss protector.

Avoid cleaning with a high pressure water jet!
